Are you installing the brace on jackstands or on ramps? If jackstands are used the body can twist so things don't line up. I fabed my own lower brace and used a drive on lift to install it... no problems.

From the pics of the JIC lower brace I have seen, you should only need to bolt the cheesy diagonal braces back on. What else did you remove??

i have them on jackstands, i removed the 2 bars, then the bolt that holds the brace in place but it didnt line up after i removed the bolt so i started banging on it, now i can barely see the hole where the bolt goes in. so i started unbolting all the screws in that bracket, the 17mm one's and the 14mm one's, even the 19mm one's. i am in idiot and duno how to put it back together. plus i only got my trusty metrench as my tools

for the frame brace, try to get the car level. its your best bet on getting everything lined up again. I made some ramps out of 2x8s so I could get my jack under the car.

Do you have a high curb? That might help you get some additional space if you have the front lip hanging over it w/ your tires on the sidewalk.

Take your time getting the bolts back in, but don't tighten down until you get them all in and lined up. Maybe some here on the boards lives close by and can give you a hand.

If you were closer to the Bay Area, I would help you out.
