Ok, first off are you wearing those belts with the spikes on them? umm not a good idea. Make sure you and your passengers remove all sharp objects from your back pockets BEFORE getting in the car. If I missed my first two guesses, then get rid of that small dog that has gnawed on your seats or, don't leave them in the car unattended. My last guess would be that your dealer installed some subpar leather in your car and most likley charged you around $2k. take it back and attemp to get them to repair it under warrantee since they installed it before you came in and bought it.
Not trying to be a smarta$$ ( well, maybe a little) but, NO WAY anybodys leather seats should look like that being only a year old.
Oh, and you might want to remove the paraphenalia from under the seat before the po po sees that stuff.

hehe i think an umbrella wont get me in trouble... yea the idiots who installed my leather wanna charge me for a whole new package. to answer ur questions:
no belts with spikes...
no sharp objects going in that side (its the drivers side)
and i just flossed my dogs teeth to check for leather fragments... just kidding...
I think my car gained a lot of weight quickly or is pregnant cause they are starting to look like stretch marks... Ill take an ultrasound and see if theres anything in there.

It happens a lot on cars with aggressive side bolsters. It just wears out. Happens on a lot of BMWs and other cars. Leather just shows the wear more quickly than cloth. My suggestion is use some Lexol leather care products to keep'm moist and clean. And think about how you are getting in the car, like dont lean into the seat till your butt is in the car. Everyone has their own technique. Just try not to rub it too hard when you get in and out. My .02
