workign on the logistics for next summer. theres been talk about this for a while https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...157539#1157539 they want a canonball run, i want to set up a drive from nyc to sf or torrence and people can drive either all the way or portions, whatever u r comfortable w/ where we also stop along the way and do car shows for charity.

dont know if anyone has checked the other thread, but heres an update
start friday b4 memorial day in ny
sat in pitt/clev/detroit/chicago (one of those)
sun at the indy 500
and continued from there
thats my best dates so people can go to the indy race too, since some people may like that
what do u think? that way u guys can drive out at least that far and monday is memorial day, no vacation days
if u want to keep going then u have that option still available
and the last day would be in cali, give the weekend to drive back

also, i emailed urban racer and got no response as well as make a wish, so i will be looking at other options
state police say i dont need an escort for a caravan that is big, but if i wnat one to give them numbers dates times etc (at least the ohio cops) i think we'll be ok

 

if you start on sat in ny i can get NRG team sponsor smithtown scion to hold a kick off party. i know for most a friday start out of ny would be very small. if it was a sat start out of ny the #s would be much bigger

 

is it rolling through AZ??

 

Indy will be WAY packed that weekend. Not that most can't handle it, but it's hard enough driving through an unfamiliar city when there ISN'T a big event going on. Just a heads up!

 

I thinking if the are going to Roll into San Fran. They will probably roll North through Colarado.and upper part of Nevada .If they Got to LA. than Arizona Is is a straight shot Unless they are going to drive that extra 6 to 8 to get there.

 

i had originally thought I-80 all the way, but theres alot of dead spots, so now im thinking going through vegas to l.a.

should get more people that way
and i know it will be busy sunday but i was offering it in case people wanted to do that. if not we can do ny sat, and detroit/chicago sunday

I'm definitely interested in atleast helping out on the NY end even if I don't make the whole trip.....can probably get most of my team (Scion Evolution) to come out too...if it's on a Saturday
