Default G/f went deerhunting. Deer crash pics

So a deer ran out in front of her tonight. I don't think it will be totalled, airbags didn't deploy, she and her friend were fine though, just shocked and she was crying over her car. Anyways, insurance is taking care of it, she had a $500 deductible. Probably gonna get the foglight bumper, and the invader hood. I kept all the receipts for the lights so yea. Here are the pics

huh, they work for me. stupid imagestation...maybe my g/f hit that too no, it wasn't her fault, she was doing 40 in a 45 and the deer barely missed an suv and basically ran into the front, that's why a lot of the damage is to the fender.

You guys just have to copy/paste the URL and they will work.. Imagestation does not allow linking to their pics like that..that's why

my tC is a deer magnet. Almost nailed a 6 pointer the other night. It's time to thin out the herd. Anybody up for a drive?

Thats not what I had in mind, but now that you mentioned it, it will give me better luck than last year. Oh yeah I got PIAA 6000K's installed, talking about deer in headlights

what IS that lil circle thing? i've seen it and i've always wanted to ask.

But, back on topic, glad no one was hurt. it happens a lot here with deer and antelope. my friend's family owns a ranch and he's hit upwards of 20 deer on the road with the same truck (grill gaurd).

That's where the tow hitch is.

That's messed up that she's cheesing like that. Obviously she not to much in shock though huh. Kind of ironic she was going to go deer hunting and got hunted, guess she did what she essentially wanted to go.

Actually, this is what happened, she doesn't hunt and wasn't going hunting

She had just slowed down because a van had turned in front of her, and she accelerated and at about 35 mph, the deer came from up the side of the ravine, barely missed an suv, then *jumped* on her hood. She didn't have enough time to react so after the deer jumped on her car while going 35-40 (Speed limit was 45), it bounced off and slid across the street.

As for animal cruelty, deer is very common as part of the roadkill menu, you just can't do anything about it. Her dad and her brothers took it to get it "prepped" so it's not wasted. I told her mom that they don't need to buy a turkey this year.

We went to get a bunch of stuff from her car, and it looks pretty bad in person. I opened the door and it made this metallic clunking sound...it really hurt seeing it and hearing it! But it's a lot of superficial damage, so yea.

Mods, thanks for you know what.
