Default Updated Pictures, Mostly Lighting

The interior lights I installed myself. Cold Cathodes that were for a computer, but i just rewired it to work in my car.

And these things are pretty neat. They go around your headlight, and when you turn them off, they glow blue. First time I saw them, it was at autozone for 7 bucks, so I went for it. I like them personally.

Lemme know what you guys think about it.

nice. how many cathodes you have in the interior? I bought LEDs to light the floor boards, but I might have a different idea for them and go for cathodes instead.

Not bad....a little too bright and distracting for my tastes, but I could see myself doing the same thing when I was 19 :D

I like the city lights you did though. Are they the type that are on a h3 bracket and sit in front of the headlight bulb on the housing, or are they the led's that you drill a hole for?

Actually, the headlight rings, they are little rubber rings that just go around the base of the light, and when the lights are turned off, they glow for a few mins. These are just for fun until I get some strobes. (I want the kind cops have)

But, stay tuned, there is going to be alot more lighting coming from my car in the near future.

I cant remember, its a real basic package. I think its by that NeoTokyo company or something. All it is is two white rings in a colorful card with some plastic over them. Nothing special. But, I think they are like, Headlight Glow Rings or something like that. If you see them, youll know what they are. They also say H4/9003 in the upper right hand corner.

WOW! Nice job!

How did you install the interior lights? What are you using to activate it? Which kit do you think is best from www.svc.com

Looks like this can be done for $20.

look in the tech section at the interior lighting diy and there are also some switches in there that are perfect. i did it myself and i think it turned out pretty well. i had never done any kind of electronic anythhing and i have done cup holders, under the dash and back seats, vents and cargo holders so just go for it. if i can do it anybody for sure can.

well, this http://www.svc.com/dfl-ud1-eb-19.html is the kit that almost exactly resembles mine. If you need some help with the install, just email me, and ill see about taking some pictures and explaining everything. I just didnt take pictures during the install. I get too involved in what Im doing to stop and take pictures. But, I just wired it up to the fusebox on the lower left of the dash in the Fog light slot (I dont have fog lights) and thats where I got power. I have two Blue LED Rocker switches (you can see in the first picture on the far left above the pedal as two blue dots) they are in the cover for the fuses. One for my underglow and the other for my inside lights. The install took a toal for 4 hours because I had to change alot of stuff and figure out good wiring locations. but, the only down side is that the wires off the inverter to the cathodes are short, and I would assume lengthening them would increase resistance making them more dim, so, if you can get single cathode tubes that would be ideal. but, the way I did mine has no problems. Just make sure you use good wire, dont use speaker wire, and use seperate black and red wires, makes future mods easier to tap into power sources. but if you need help, email me or AIM me. S12_200sx@Hotmail.com or S12Driver for AIM. Ill try my best to answer any of your questions.

enfomas - where i found them was in the same section the "rice lights" are. The stick on side markers, bonnet lights, APC headlights, that section. But, if you can't find em, lemme know and ill see if i can pick you up a set and maybe mail em to ya.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, everything I install in my car is NOT PERMANENT. Everything can be reversed without any lasting damage. I feel more safe that way incase I need to remove something. But, thats also why it takes longer for me to install things.
