cover only takes 2 holes. There are four there. And the two holes on the cover he has serve no purpose. Also the holes that do serve a purpose to to be drilled to make it fit. So yea and the company doesnt want to refund his money.

the tc has 2 screws in the front only not the rear which in return has two extra holes in the back that are drilled when the ones in the front should be drilled.

Oh...... its probably a Camry CF engine cover then. If the company does not want to give him his money back, then yes, I would modify it to fit. Who is this company by the way?

I wouldn't mind the extra 2 holes, I would just put 2 small stickers over them, like maybe 2 scion logos or something.

thanks. I'm trying so hard to explain to the co. that i bought it from that my cover should look like yours and he says that i have to modify it to fit and wont refund me because i choose not to use it.

He is saying that all aftermarket parts need modifying and that customers will buy his cover because they understand the fact that its aftermarket.

Their company motto is that they test fit before they produce it and won't sell if it is defective. The way they are handling this they are misrepresing themselves and giving false advertisement. can you pm where you got yours from?

What company did you get it through? I wouldn't modify it. They just sent you the wrong product and should send you out the correct one and I would keep on pursuing getting your money back or a correct one sent to you.

What I meant to say is, if the company would not take it back and I was stuck with it, I would make the best of my situation and modify it and found a way to cover the extra 2 holes, of course if the company took it back i woudn't keep it.

I've seen someone with the Camry Engine cover.. It fits fine, as our engine is the camry's. You just have 2 extra holes...

A question for the OP, when you first put on the CF engine Cover did you remove the oil cap with it on? Its kind of a wierd question I know but I have a CF engine cover too and inorder to put oil into the engine I have to take the engine cover off and then unscrew the oil cap. Its kind of an annoyance but lets face it, how often do you put oil into the engine? You might be able to get the seller for that if it applies to you. Oh, and my CF engine cover only has 2 holes where they are suppose to be.

You shouldn't have to remove the engine cover to remove the oil cap, I guess the hole is too small, I'm only saying that cause I used to have one and I never had to remove it for oil changes.

I would send that back and demand a refund. I am going to start making and selling our Turbo Kit for the TC real soon.So does that mean that I can do less R&D because it is after market and give you a kit that does not fit. No I cant. If they told you it is for that car then it should fit with no mods.
