My Discount Tire Direct experience..
http://www.discounttiredirect.com
I ordered my wheels and tires from the folks at Discount Tire Direct. I ordered them on their website... here's my story.
I ordered my wheels, and received a tracking number. I go to UPS's website.. and they are going to Houston, TX! ( I live in San Diego). Anyway, I call them, and they say "Oh, that's not your tracking number, they (wheels and tires) go to Texas to be mounted and balanced, and they'll ship them out to you the next day." Ok, cool.
I get my wheels one day in advance, and I am stoked. I look at the boxes, two total, and think to myself, "Those are small boxes..." I open one up, and to my disappointment, THERE ARE NO TIRES MOUNTED!!!!! Booooo!
I call customer service, and they apologize, and really have no explanation. After a little bit of discussion, I decide the best thing to do is bring the wheels to a shop, and have them mount tires on them.
After all said and done, the shop mounted "better" tires than what I have ordered, and all is good.
My point? With all the negatives that usually fly about shops/sites, I can say that I am happy with Discount's service. They have always maintained a good reputation in my area, and they didn't fail this time. Problem solved quickly, and painlessly. Don at extension 416 helped me at 888-216-0224. Later.[/url]

OK, you lost me...
So did they send the tires too? Or just rims? And did the shop charge you when you went in to get them mounted, or did they see that you already paid online?
And any pics of the rims?

They did not send tires. At least not yet. "If you receive them, give us a call" was their request. I received just rims. The shop did not charge me, because I already paid. Pics. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...049&highlight=
i got really expensive rims and tires for a really inexpensive price. They shipped quick, and came fully mounted and balanced. All i did was swap out the tires and drive away. I love these people. ohh, and it is not the first time i buy from them. They have always exceeded my expectations. I would highly recomend them to anyone.
I too received my tires from them next day w/ the free shipping. I live in OK, and they shipped from TX. So far my family has bought 3 sets of tires from them and had a great experience every time!
