A bone stock 2006 automatic is $15,195. That's pure pricing no haggling. That's what I paid. I believe a manual is a little less I don't know. You can go to the Scion.com website build your box there put in your zip and it should give you an accurate price. Tax, license etc. differs from state to state or even city to city. But that $15,195 does not change or at least it's not suppose to.

Does that include tax, title, license and all of the assorted paperwork. It's usually the paperwork that gets you in the end.

The $15,195 is b/4 any tax, license, doc.fee etc. That's why I said go to the Scion.com website put in the zip of where you live "Build" your xB and you should get a price that you would pay at the dealer.

Yeah... That's about what I paid on the manual and a bit more for the automatic. Just makes you wonder where the other $1500 is going to for that slyDbox was quoted. They got to be tacking on some fees for documentation and the like. WA state used to have a license excise tax that could run to a thousand or more depending on the value and year of a car. Makes me wonder if that isn't the case since it may not necessarily show up on a calculation on the Scion site.

Manual 14,420
Thundercloud
Fog Lights 350
Brand New
Total 14, 770
7% sales tax ( I'm guessing) 1033
$15,803
Which makes the fees about $500 for tags and dealer fees. That seems a little high, but I've seen worse.

Yep $35.... Sounds like they are charging the max allowed by the state. WA state allows for 250-300 (can't remember off hand the max) but most charge less. The other Scion dealer in town charges $65 to do the same as the one I went to.

Different states will be different.
And 7.75 isn't that high. We pay 8.25 here. Gotta pay for Arnie's special elections...

A grand total of $428 for title, registration, and all processing fees is maybe a little high, but IMO tolerable.
I'm glad (for the first time) to live in a 6% sales tax state!
