Default xA CA-SR Intake. They do Exist!

I dident do my homework and found out the hard way that the xA and xB dont share the same intake mold for Injen. Well i did not pay much for it so wasent that bummed till i looked closer, I could make it work. I was able to run down to Home Depo and pick up a 4inch cupler and 4 inch 1/4 turn bend and a few hose clampls later bamm...

I just linked the site coz its hard to see even in the big pics.

Sounds good, dont know anyone with a SR on an xA so i cant compare... It does have a difearnt note then the Injen CAI for the xA.

Just thought id share this

Looks killer, I'd love to hear a sound clip if possible.

When you said Home Depot I was thinking that this was going to be some ghetto backyard fabrication. Looks good though, nice job.

ewood666 - Come out to Fusion Cafe on Saturday and you can hear it. We meet up every week amigo. Right off the 163 on clermont mesa blvd, accross the street from Cheatas and BK(more BK but cheatas is easy to find)

Thanks for the complement! I wish i had a pic of the set up preinstall. I fit all the piping together just to make sure it would fit then riped it apart to install on the car.. maybe one day when iam really board.

The only draw back of this is it rubs on the back of the headlight assembly... I dont really car tho and unless i swap it no matter what, it would rub.

Could you point out the HD parts for us that are not familiar?

That looks great!

Dont have part numbers or anything but ill do my best...

I used a 4inch long x 4 inch round sleave to connect to the 4 inch round and 4 inch long 1/4 bend.

You will find all you need in the plumming section of HD. Serously I took in the intake in to HD and assembled it before i paid for the parts... I just hoped the bend would clear the fender, I am sure there are 100 ways to make the intake fit with all the plumming options in HD.

I used some soap solution to wedge all the parts together then just tightend down the hose clamps.

This pic shows a small side of the bend that i used. it has kinda a I shape but it worked
