thursday night while my wife was at the church, a hispanic male decided my wheels would look good in his trunk. so he took of all of the center caps and then figured out that the 4 way woundn't fit. about this time a person coming to the church saw him and he left in his car, then about 5 min later when everyone was standing outside looking at the damage, he drove back by. well tina had called me as soon as this happend, and i jsut so happend to be with another officer so we responded to a house 3 blocks away from the church to try and get the center caps back. so we raced across town lighs and siren to find the guy standing outside his car, with 2 sterios a jack 4 way compurer and concrete blocks in his car. but no center caps. well the operator on 911 told us to leave the scene because of posible wepons he might have. so we left there and by the time the cops got there he was gone, and so where alot of the stollen goods, including my center caps. well he went to jail and the car got towed. so i'm just suposed to wait for a phone call from a detective????? well now i'm just not thinking it's worth it to have anything nice if retards are just going to try to steel everything i have worked so hard for. so everyone might see a change in the xb, it might just go back to the steel wheels. and so system. i don't know yet. :tap:
o and buy the way, we had 2 peeps see him do it, and the cops said they were probably gonna let him go.

man that sux, but let me tell you, roll with pride, damn thieves tried to break into my old broken down 91 honda accord to steal a stock radio, but joke on them the drivers side door doesn't open, so their hanger got stuck and the cops pulled a lot of prints off of the car, hopefully they will nail the bastard, but stay with your ride man, they do it no matter what.

Hey man, my box got busted into before i made my first payment. I thought exactly the same thing. But then the bug just kept eating at me and i figured what the heck I am going to make my car the way I want it. That is what insurance is for. Just make sure it covers aftermarket mods and get that low deductible. They did $2500 worth of damage getting a $50 stereo. It only cost me $100 to get it fixed and I got a better stereo. Just hang in there and you'll get through this phase.

thanx guys, i'm working security up there now, so maybe something good came out of all of this, but it seems like people jsut dont have any morals any more. i mainly feel violated that my car was a victim, well neways no one got hurt and caps can be replaced. thanx for the words of encouragement
