I don't know too much about their pre-made kits but I know that Audiobahns are good subs (despite what retrodrive says) and they hit hard. I don't know if that kit is worth $150 though. seems like a lot for only 120W system. I'd say save a little more money and buy everything seperate.

well, I'm guessing you have the tC? I've heard the stock sub and amp in the tC and it's ok but not that great. Not sure on the wattage either but the one you posted is definitely cheaper that the stock from the dealer. I guess spending 150 isn't too bad. you can always return it, right?

You should look at the abass 10 or 12 if you like that style. it is the non amplified version and has a higher RMS.

C'mon, some Axis rims and Jensen/Pyramyd/Legacy/Audiobahn subz and you gots yourself a fot street tuner dawg. Once you got your unpainted, badly fitted bodykit on, thats when you are balling though!

I'm rolling on axis punk......19 x 8 Chrome Axis Spider. I love them..

As for the stereo set up....I couldn't agree with you more. All those brands are sub-par.

If I were you I would just save a little more money and buy something better.
JL W3 are smooth and not terribly expensive.

If your only looking to spend $150 total for an amp and sub good luck getting anything decent....

Maybe what you suggested would be good for you....but if you were to up grade you would just have to toss that totally.

I try to buy stuff that I can expand upon...you know what I'm saying.

Go for the best, man. Why settle for less? You're gonna end up wanting a better one anyways. I'm tight on money too so i know where your coming from. Save your money and just get something you're satified with.

I say save your money for a little bit and wait till you find something you really like that will satisfy you....that's probably the best way to go....I had a 10" in my tC....wasn't good enough.....I ended up with 2 12's, components, and 2 amps..

We sell Memphis and Eclipse as our upgrades. I highly recommend Memphis amps and subs from an MCEP certified installer/dealer. The MCEP certification doubles your factory warranty on Memphis products.

I run twin 10" M1s with a Baby Belle and the thing sounds pure, sweet and true. Plenty of hit in them. And I'm still running the factory Pioneer single disc system as my head unit!

Like anything else, you get what you pay for. If you want to save money buy used equipment from someone you can trust. More bang-for-the-buck.
