hey guys, i need some help asap... i am installing a cf hatch on my box and im stuck... so now it's like 12:30am and i have my stock hatch off the car.. i dont wana leave my box sitting outside with no hatch on... 2many cats in my hood and i dont wana have a cat-motel in my box. i dont kno how to remove the stock hatch shock from the stock hatch... i tried using a 11mm wrench but it strips the nut... can anyone help me... i would really appreciate any help... thank in advance guys...

Service manual on home page does not give the size wrench needed, and I assume that a 10mm was too small. I do not believe that any nuts/bolts on a foreign car are "standard", even though american cars mix standard and metric on the same car. Hope you are still not waiting with no hatch. Good luck.

They are definately 10mm. I have taken two hatches off and never had a problem with the trusty 10mm. Maybe you were just in a hurry.

i think he means the ballstud on the hatch. mine is also 11mm. I couldnt get mine off. It actually started to distort the metal on the hatch when i cranked on it.

i couldnt get it off. i ended up just taping it off for paint.

oh yeah. Sorry, I thought you were talkin about the other mounts on the other end. Good luck with that man. I heard those are a total nightmare.
