Default window tint

hey whatup! new to the forum just got my xb and also just tinted the windows...15% all the way around witha visor strip on the front...i will post pics soon (hopefully)...i got it done at ABC window tint on Evans & Monaco. The guy there was really cool and hooked me up with a good price, i payed $180 for everything. You go to those big shops and they will try and charge for the SUV price ...around $220, (thats what they tried to pull on me) plus they wouldnt tint the windows like i wanted ( cause its illegal ooooh) but anyway ABC gave me what i wanted at a tight price...check it out yo!

I got my front windows tinted at 30% (just slightly darker than the factory rear tint) for $99 at SunFree on N Broadway near 70th Ave.

You sure it's 30%? Factory smoked glass is more like 20%.

Max -

The 20% he showed me was slight ly lighter than the factory tint. The 30% was just slightly darker... almost like if a 25% had been available...

All the best -

Chris

What year is your xB?

I'm asking because my factory tint in my 2006 looks slightly different than my wife's 2005.

And it wouldn't surprise me considering the other subtle changes - like the electrical harness and airbags. New harness to support the iPod Stereo and new AirBags which means you can NOT get a leather steering wheel for the 2006 yet. The current wheel won't work with the new air bag...

All the best -

Chris
