Just wanna share my pics of my new cat-back exhaust. And also wanna thank stylis for all the good tips and advice for the install...wish I was up there(nor cal) so you could have done the install.

Anyway, I got the 6" Stainless Steal Street Series by Magnaflow

Top view, flushed with the line of the bumper.

Side view, show the angle of the tip.

Resonator was replaced for a more high flow and controlled sound.

The sound of the exhaust is basically the same with the sound clip from www.magnaflow.com

Thanks again stylis...all that shameless plugs worked and I am a satisfied customer.

I was way happy that the cannister didn't drop down too much. Even when lowered I think it'll still clear. And yeah I know I need to keep it clean hahaha even went out and grabbed a polisher for it. Thanks again Gabe!

Do you have any sound clips?

I'll see if I can get one by thursday.

Oh yeah I didn't know anyone has the quasar 2 on their box. I like the look of the 18s but my wife drives the box too so I had to settle for the 17s

looks like a clean install, do you have an automatic? Gabe had mentioned that the automatics are louder than manual and I'm just curious to hear it

Yeah, I wanted to know if you had a auto too.? If so, how does it sound on the highway? Does it have that droaning sound that makes you go mad  ?

yeah mines an auto also and no it doesn't have that sound on the freeway. I think the resonator(glasspack) with the street series magnaflow helped out a bit. It has a good tone on lower rpms and sort of quiets down on higher rpm.

I'll try to get the sound clip by tonight.

i have sort of the same setup as him on my xa... 18" resonator, 2.25" piping, and a 6" round magnaflow... it's very quiet inside the cabin, very loud when you're outside of the car. on the freeway i can barely hear it, on the streets i can only hear it from 1k-3k then it quiets out and gets loud again around 5k. i got a manual if you were wondering.
