so far my mods are
Weapon-r intake, DC header, custom midpipe w/ resonator (no cat), axle back exhaust, resistor chip, weapon-r torque damper, and ground wires


before, i only had the weapon-r intake, header, torque damper and resistor mod; my top speed on 1st gear was 30mph and my 2nd gear 55mph

after a few months of having these mods, i just recently got the midpipe and axleback done. feels abit more quick, kinda like putting another DC header in there. Now all the sudden my 1st gear max at 32 mph and 2nd gear is between 50-53mph! <---- that sucks! because im no where near 60 anymore and not even 55.

what the hell is goin on with my car??? any ideas and suggestions? i remember a friend drove my car and mentioned about how its difficult to control my rpms when he pre-revs it.

 

Its probably just revving a little quicker and the tach/speedo isnt responding fast enough. The guages arent all that accurate when the revs get up there.

 

your gear ratio will not change unless you swap the trans.

 

unless teeth are spontaneously flying off the gears or your gears are changing sizes on thier own... your gear ratios are not changing. The engine rpm/speed will not change without changes to the tranny or transaxle

 

so why is my 2nd gear cant max at 55mph anymore???

it sucks if you race on a rolling start going 40 because im only going up 10+ miles through 2nd gear instead of 15+

maybe im losing something here...
