I recently discovered that the power plug in my center console doesn't work!
Has anyone else had problems with theirs not working? Do I need to take apart the whole console to fix it, or should I just take it in to the dealer to fix? I really hate to take the time to go to the dealer with it, if I can just do it myself.

It is the one inside of the center console "the middle one" that is the problem. The one at the front of the console near the shifter works just fine, and I have my XM pludgged into it all the time, so I need the one inside of the center console for my phone charger to plug in and charge my phone sometimes, or plug in the laptop on trips, etc.
Yes, my power is on when I try, and have tried in various key positions too....no luck. Just wondered if anyone had a fix for it that I could do myself, so that I wouldn't have to take time off from work to get it fixed at the dealer.

You could check if the wire harness to it is plugged in. You'll have to pull the 2 console pieces off to get to it. The first piece is the shifter area, the second one is the cupholder area. They're held in by clips so it's easy to pull them off, just be careful cus the plastic scratches easily.

Great, thanks for the response. I'll check that out and see if that is the problem on my lunch break today. The car has just about 8500 miles on it now, and if I can wait to go into the dealer until the 10,000 check-up (instead of now, and then too) that would be great!
