I'm so excited, I have to share my news! After days of color confusion my girlfriend and I finally decided on the Blue Onyx Pearl Automatic. And finally after days of total stress, today, my girlfriends mom agreed to co-sign!! Now we just had to place the order and start the long, dreadful wait...we thought.
We had already been to all the local dealerships in our area, praying to find someone who had one in stock, we were even willing to take a color that wasn't our first choice...but no such luck! On a hitch we decided to take a drive up to Krause Scion which is like 30mins away from us. We pull up to the dealership, and wouldn't you know there were 3 xB's sitting next to each other. We walk over to them and find a Black Cherry Pearl Automatic, a Black Sand Pearl Manual, and a beautiful Blue Onyx Pearl Automatic! We are so freakin' excited now because we don't have to wait!! As long as everything goes thru with the co-signer (wish us luck), we will be driving home a 2006 Blue Onyx Pearl xB this Thursday.

That color is like pure grape juice. Welcome to the board.
Two mod sugestions: 1. A clear bug deflector to protect the front of the hood.
And 2. Get a Cabin Air Filter. Your Scion has no filter in the Cabin Air Filter tray that is behind your glove box. That is how they sell them. Try to get this filter thrown in with the deal, dealers sell this Cabin Air Filter for about $22. Advanced or Autozone will have one for about $12, you may have to say that you have a 2004 XB, the numbers of all parts has not reached all retailers, same filter, same car. Read how to pop out the glove box when you read the thread called 'Fabricate your own Cabin Air Filter' in the TECH section. See photos of how to rip off the glove box from it's plastic hindges. It feels like you are ripping the car apart, but that is how it comes off.

I know I'm gonna sound like a total moron, but what is a "cabin air filter, and what does it do?"

 

It filters the air coming into the car like with the AC, keeps dust down, etc.
