Default Gauge Pods... Where in the world are they all?

Ok... I just got my A/F and Boost gauges in and am looking for a good looking gauge pod... Yes I know there is the A-Pillar pod, but I do not like the look of them, and I have the side curtain airbags... You all know what would happen if they went off with those gauges there...

So I have been looking online, and found something called an E-Pod, I like it, but... Oh wait, its not out for the tC.. Trust me, I have called everywhere.. There is also a three pod gauge pod that sits on the dash in the middle of the car... BLAH, I dont like that one much either...

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas, or has found something that I may have missed.

Thanks guys

-Trevor

Patience young grasshopper... we still have relatively new cars and turbos are only recently out for them...

People haven't had much of a need for additional pods too much, so there wasn't that much of a market.

Now there is a bit of one growing, so I see more companies starting to develop ideas... The tC's interior is going to be hard to compliment with guages outside of an A-Pillar or Glove box mount.... everything else doesn't seem to fit really...

I think more will start to come out.... until then.... pick up a book on fiberglass fabrication and buy some 2 1/16 tubes and play with ideas.... maybe you can find a good space and someone can pick up on the commercial developement

ZPI makes one for the drivers side vent. They also custom make one for the sunroof/dome light location that holds 2 gauges. This one is not cheap...There are generic ones available...not really great tho.

Other than that....wedrivescions has the perfect solution

Well, hope this thread makes people think about some good places, or post some of what they have done...

There is one company that is releasing a dual gauge pod that fits directly behind the steering wheel for the xB and is designing one for the tC. Not sure as to how much room there is back there but they would be placed to the left and right of the speedometer. That's all i've seen. I have the triple guage pod from creative compacts and am happy so far with it.

This is the ePod.. There is not one out for the tC yet, they have them for the xA and xB..

This is what they have out for the tC so far... I personally do not like it at all...

Anyone have pics of the gauge pods ZPI makes? They do not have them listed on their site.
