Also, I am going to direct mail over 600 Scion customers from our dealership and I know some of the other guys from other dealers are going to help as well.

I feel you RS1...I drive to meet with everyone from Clear Lake all the time. The drive sucks, but it is so much fun to hang out with all the Scion peeps! Hope you come, it will be nice to meet the only other RS1 that I know of in Houston.

You'll meet another RS1.0 too. One of the guys from our dealership has one and he will be here.

As of right now, I have over 35 confirmations of people coming. Make sure to invite other Scino Owners you know or see. I am expecting 50 cars to show.

well not sure if i'll be able to make it seeing as how friggin Mike Calvert Collision Center keeps toying with me. i got into a little accident couple weeks ago and my car has been at their shop for the past 2 and half weeks. last wednesday they told me i would have it by that friday. on the day of, i called to make sure i could come pick it up and they said that it wasnt ready and it'll be ready monday (yesterday). same ol' sob story again and told me that i would have it by today because yesterday they were trying to put the front spoiler on. today called and again more waiting. while i was on the phone with John Sanchez (the guy in charge of my car) he said that they were trying to fit my grille back into the new bumper and they can't seem to do it. come on ppl its your own brand car! you should know everything about it! my bro removed my old grille before taking it to them in a matter of minutes! grr that ____ed me off..so yeh dunno about this saturday

on a lighter note, chrimson, ur not the only chick with an RS1 :P. i was outside on the phone telling my friend i couldnt meet up with him cuz i couldnt get my car, and i see this RS1 driving towards me. It had HIDs, looked like 6000k, and a pedestal spoiler, and mayb 20% tint. i'm pretty sure i saw the gurl in their looking right back at me lol. jus wanted to let you know.

Bringing the Toy is not a Requirement, but that is the reason we ware meeting up so.... Every Toy Donation will get the gift bag that will have the Scion Merchandise and the Raffle ticket for the Accessory Gift Certificates. In order to get the Gift bag/Raffle ticket, you do need to bring a donation.

omg...i hate Mike Calvert's collision center!!! came today to get the car..they drive it out and i start inspecting the car..first off they got the wrong grille on the car! they put a regular tc grille on it. the weird thing is that it looked pretty nice..i liked the chrome trimming. but still i want my RS grille on there! so while im talking to the guy about it my dad drives it off to see if its running right. comes back with the high beams on and i see that one of the bulbs are burnt out! guy tried to fix it on the spot but couldnt. open up my engine bay and i am horrified...they messed up my engine bay! there is this white compound alll over the place! starting from the upper plastic piece all the way down to the plastic thing under the engine. i asked what it was and he said it was the compound they sprayed on for painting the front end. hmm..i always thought when replacing parts, they painted them before putting them on. that just makes me suspicious and wonder if they really did the work themselves...anywho, yeh theres this white stuff all over my engine, my strut bar, my black intake, everywhere! so i refused to take it in that condition. he apologized for it and said i could come get it tomorow after he has the detailing department do their job.

the only thing i like about this place is that they will fix their mistakes. everything else sucks! the service is crap. he called us at 5 to come get it. we get their at 5:15 and the car is still jacked up. they made us wait there for an hour and half before they actually presented the car to us. tomorow it will be 3 weeks that my car is gone and that is just way to long for the type of damage that happen to the car..*sigh* sorry jus had to vent that off. i wouldnt recommend Mike Calvert's collision center to anybody. their sales department is great and everything because i got my car there with no hassles or anythin. if you're gonna buy a toyota/scion, Mike Calvert all the way. but if u need it fixed, find another toyota dealer to take it to. jus my .02

soooo this saturday is very doubtful for me. if i do get my car back tomorow, i wanna clean it up and stuff and i dunno if imma hav time to do that before. i'll try to come tho and bring my power ranger toys! lol

From Clear Lake take 45N Beltway 8 West to 290 West. Take the West Rd Eldridge Rd exit (the second exit after you merge on 290) The first light on the feeder will be west rd, the second light is eldrgide. You will see Joe Myers on the right.
