So does anyone else enjoy an occasional smoke from a Nargile, aka Hookah? Im talking about flavored Tobacco which is known as Shisha in middle eastern countries. What flavors and brands do you guys like to smoke? If you want you guys can post pics of your hookahs or hookah hubs. :)

I tried it once and thought it was actually pretty cool. I didnt even know the flavor that it was, but I liked it, and I hate smoking. Its more of a bong though rather than cigarette smoking.

Well techinically it is a Water-pipe. Bong's have a negative connotation towards illegal substances so we try not to use the word "bong" when refffering to a hookah. :)

Personal favorites are Watermelon and White Peach from Fumari down in San Diego. I like Al Fahker coconut, grape, sour apple. :)

I had a few of those in college and my favorite flavor was indica and redbud. :rofl:

never tried it but would like to some day....heard its actually very relaxing.

I tried it once at a middle estern restaurant down the street from me...good times.

Last time I was in Westwood near UCLA, there was this trendy place that had snooty people smoke those things at every table with outdoor seating and everything....I actually thought it looked kinda goofy

I've tried it once. Its very relaxing. I forget the flavor, i was stoned prior to having it. I don't smoke weed, pot, whatever anymore. I do smoke cigarettes, bad habit but, it happens. Back to topic, nice set up you have. I'll have to try it again since i don't really remember what it was like. Already relaxed that night. lol

This stuff is actually very relaxing. For those that havent tried, should try it at least once. Im not a cigarette smoker and hate the taste of cigarettes but the hookah is something totally different. :)

not to be "mr. downer guy", but i smoked cigs (up to 2 packs a day) for way too many years, starting as a teen, then i added weed throughout the college years, then added cuban cigars on the golf course a bit later in life, and finally decided i apparently wasn't designed to act as a smoke filter.

it sounds fun and "trendy" and all, but for me, smoke is done.

the room looks cool though.

Being its a lace type of tobacco, it would have long term effects. Not as dangerous though, its not atticting like your cigarette tobacco. The flavor can be, but its not. heh. Its good stuff im sure, i'll have to try it again..

Yea well, since it is so recently new to the US there are still studies being done to test how bad this stuff is. But the way i look at it. Anything in moderation cant be too bad for you. I used to smoke 2-3 bowls everyday and i figured i shouldnt be doing that. Now im only smoking 1-2 times every other week.

btw- Hookah smoke does not have any of the harsh chemical carcinogens that are in Cigarettes. :)

hashish ohh yea. lol. i dont really but my friends do all the time and i go with them.I am indian so I got a few personal ones at home I dont use. lol. All good.

dang, thats tyte. i've been smokin hookah for a long time. dont have one personally though. but after smoking for so long, i pretty much know how to make a hookah hit good. try these things. when u fill your hookah with water, put some ice in there. but make sure the level is still where u want it to be. also when your packing your bowl with tobacco, loosen up the tobacco first. dont just pack all in there. when makin holes in the foil, try to make them very small and poke alot of them. a safety pin usually works.

one more thing, try to find some double apple tobacco. its the best!
let me know if these tips work, they should help you blow some thick a** smoke.

the other week i made a water bong out of a gatorade bottle. it hit pretty good. made it with a pen and a coke can and sum helpful duck tape

Smoking cigarettes isn't the best thing in the world. Once your addicted, your done. Its hard to quit usually. Probably shouldn't have started it again, but, oh well. I'll stop again sometime.

As for Hookah, go for it. Its not bad at all for you. Well, i shouldn't say that. Smoke in your lungs is never a good thing over a long period time. But its probably one of the least harmful types of smoking you can do. Plus, it is relaxing.

Funny thing is I smoke hookah with my dad almost on a daily basis. I smoke with my Lola and aunties when they are around too. hahaha. Its a family thing, you know? hahaha. My friends trip out when they come over and my parents or relatives are puffin' on a hookah. HAHA! :) A bowl is commonly shared between my parents and my friends. ;)

You'll eventually find yourself smoking more. I used to smoke that light. The most i've smoked was about a pack - pack and a half a day. Then i quit, then started again. About half a pack a day. Which has been like that for a while so thats where im staying.

Hookah is also fun to say.
