DFW people Stuff Your Scion 12/03/05 [Archive]

The Garden of Angles and BACA www.bacausa.com are doing the Angel Tree event on Dec. 3rd at 5:00 PM. They have asked the Scion community for help again this year. We did an AWESOME job last year so let's make this year even better! We'll meet at Scott & Mellisas house at 4:00 PM and leave for the Garden of Angels around 4:45 PM. Bring new, unwrapped toys to be collected at the event and distributed personally by BACA members to underpriveleged children this Christmas. Our goal is to not let any child go without Christmas this year. These are great people doing great work to help children and they need our support badly! Let's make this a Christmas to remember for some children less fortunate than us. Thanks.

ok ok i know i havent been posting on here its because i have been trying to find out if i can come but unfortunately i cant i am hunting this weekend from fri. to sat. night hopefully i will be atleast able to drop some toys off before you leave for the run

To Scott and Mellissa i apologize for not being able to make it, im always down for things like this and for exspecially for you guys, your the best you always come to everything if you stay or not, atleast you make an appearance so once again i apologize..hope i can make it up to you guys......

I was suppose to help Ben with his bags aswell but will not be able to make that either, plus didnt want to be in the way and get Scott in trouble with to many peeps.

I might have missed it in the previous posts but when is everyone meeting up??? I know the event is at 5:00pm

Does anyone know the location of the event itself I don't want to impose on scott and melissa's street (i.e. crowding their street with everyone). I might just stop by to drop off my stuff like with the drastic measure toy run if that is okay.

It's just down the street from their house..literally...that's why we all meet there. I think their neighbors are used to us "scioners" crowding up their street.

I don't think the location has an exact address..not sure...(you see when you get there)

Must vent: apparetly my car did not feel like getting a bath today, she refused to get and stay clean! They must have switched the water supply or something is in the air today, it just wasn't working! :tap: I will survive though.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for this and brought toys for the kids. It was a good turn out and once again I was proud to be a part of the Scion Community here in the metroplex. Great people doing great things.
