SoCal-tC-Club.com would like to invite all Scion owners to join us at our San Diego Regional monthly meet. We will be having a bonfire/bbq.

What: Bonfire/BBQ
When: Saturday December 3rd
Time: 3 PM to whenever
Where: Paradise Point in Mission Bay

Directions:
I-8 West
Exit Sports Arena/West Mission Bay Drive and turn right at the traffic light - Ingraham Street. Continue on Ingraham Street to the second traffic light - West Vacation Road. Turn left. Then make the very first left (do not go straight to the resort). Then go straight all the way to the back where the gazebo type thing is and park.

Everyone is welcome! The only thing we ask is if you want to come, please bring something... either drinks or food. It would also help if you let us know what you will be bringing so we know what we will still need and so that we don't bring too much of one thing.

Things already accounted for are:
1. all bbq utensils
2. lighter fluid
3. tin foil
4. marshmallows
5. sodas
6. chips
7. hamburgers
8. buns

Bummer, The SE guys have a show this date. I will drop by if we get back in time but not sure if that will be posable.

well it depends on the weather i hear its going to rain on fri and sat... if it doesn't rain then i will go....

It's great that you have nie weather and can carshows almost year round. We still barely get enough cars together in the summer to qualify for a meet. That's maybe once a month. We have a lot of people on the forums, but most Chicagoans don't care enough to meet and greet. I still long for picture sessions and bbq's like you guys have. Have fun though. I still wish I could live in San Diego or afford to anyway. Some day maybe.

well i just checked weather.com and it only shows a chance of rain for today and tomorrow is going to be partly cloudy. so lets keep our fingers crossed and hope it doesnt rain. but for now it is still on. :pray: :pray: :pray:

I was there and saw only TCs was a TC - Club thing? I felt silly being the only XB so I left.

haha we saw you and were wondering why you kept driving by but didnt stick around. we had an xA there too. a lot of the other guys with xb's and xa's were at the xdl thing in irwindale. you should have stopped and hung out.

and yea most of us are part of a tc club which is why it was mostly tc's but we try to include all scions when we have meets in san diego. hope you can make the next one and stick around next time.

I was try to teach my step son how to drive a standerd. That is why I was driving around there. I was going to join you but it look like you guys were wraping things up. I was a bit late anyway.

ahhh... nice! next time you should stop in and kick it with us or at least say hi lol.
