Test drive review
Doesn't it seem like somebody (Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Motor Week, etc.) would have had a test drive of the tC by now and reported on it? We are a little over two months away and still nobody has given this thing a test drive and reported on it.....
HURRY UP, already!

Boy I remember when I was waiting on the Matrix.... Take a look at SportCompactCar... Thats the FIRST magazine to have test driven (and hop up) a Matrix XRS...
The only thing that sets the tC apart is the launch of the S/C will be in Nov... So SCC won't actually be interested till then I would guess...
I'm waiting heavily on the test drive as well... You're not the only on toughing through this one :D
Btw, I still have the centerfold poster of the Matrix in red posted on my wall :D (What kind of weirdo posts pics of 18K cars?)

you won't see a full review of the tC until its release in june. magazines will test a new car a month or two before its launch and the factory will let them have a pre-production model for a couple of days. all these stories we hear of seeing tC on the road could either be a corporate employee driving or a road test by one of the mags.

It isn't really a review. It's more of a blurb from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The only really new information is a quote from Gary Boler, who says that the TRD supercharger will be a Vortech centrifugal, rather than an Eaton roots blower like previous TRD superchargers.
can someone scan this please?
Just a little friendly public remidner :D
magazines earn 95% of their money from selling advertisements... in fact when you subscribe you become part of the product that magazines sell... don't get me wrong, i love my mags, but i wouldn't feel too guilty if me or someone else scanned a page...
