Do you like billet grilles like this?

 

How about a otion of " Maybe" becuase i think it looks good on only a couple of colors.

So my answer is Yes And No,

 

I got mine off of ebay for pretty cheap. it's more of a mesh than billet and more of a brushed aluminum than chrome. I just don't think a grille that looks so solid looks good on a car that looks so light. just a tad out of place IMO. But what matters is that if you're happy with it, do it! More power to you on that upgrade and any more you make. btw, if you wanna see my grille, check out my gallery.

 

fugly as hell. I'm making mine from gutterguard, mind you this is a rough start. but to give you an idea:

 

thinkin about changing my mesh to a billet, but if only there were less bars on the billet...

If u r gonna get one go to a shop and let them do a custom one. The one's off ebay are pretty flimsy.

what? it works. that's what most aftermarket grills are anyway, just way overpriced

cost me $2.00 and i little extra work, which i need to redo, but im new at this. hell, check out Zoltiz's grill, he did a damn good job.

Im up in da air myself i like em but their almost to busy im leanin toward the mesh myself i think they look sportier.

 

Well, while we're on the subject...

I have the billet grille from Scion, except because I got factory foglights, the top grill is billet but the bottom is black. So, I don't want to put in new fogs (I actually like the Scion fogs to be honest...) but I REALLY don't want the one billet, one black grille thing going on, so, what do you guys think is better:

1. Get the billet grille (and lower grille) powdercoated black.
2. Get the bottom grille chromed/painted chrome.

And on either, should I get the housing around the fog lights done the same way, or just the grille looking part?

 

I would go with option #2 personally. I love the chrome billet grilles instead of the factory black or painted black.

 

I'm not a fan of billet grills. I think very few cars can get away with a billet grill.

 

My car was extremely dirty when I took this as I just got home from a long road trip when these came in and put on.

 

Top and bottom billet grilles cut to fit inside the factory openings.
