I have tc Rs1.0. I am about to buy 17" for snow tires. Do you think gold will look good on a red car?

Depends. I'd have to see them on the car to judge. They look good on blue and white cars but I'll have to see them next to the RS Red to visualize. Time to bust out your photoshop skills.

a bright red and a gold like that, personally i think it wont look good at all. If it was me i would go with black rims. just my 2 cents

Yeah, this is for winter only. I really want to buy the 18" but the performance snow tires for 18" cost $200+.. YIKES! :nails:

Ugh, I hate the black on red scheme. Reminds me of the 80's, old Trans Am with a big red Firebird on the hood. Ugh, I hated the 80's. But that's just me.

Go with a gun metal color not compltely black....the gold just dont do the car justice

I think it looks alright. I almost bought those wheels in gunmetal for my BCP tC. It's not up to us though. You're the one paying for it.

unfortunately, just like you don't care for my Full Moons, I don't like Gold trim on cars period. Not a slam, just my opinion. :eyebrow:

and I don't like that rim style either.

I wouldn't say they'd look retarded, just that I personally wouldn't like them.

White rims on a bright red car looks hot!
(Not sure about the practicality of it though. Especially in the snow.)
If they're gonna be your winter wheels, I say just stick w/the black.

actually, now that i see what it would kinda look like its not that bad. do it you will be unique.

if you like it, go for it. It doesnt look too bad... might look better if you lower your car... but that isnt optimal for winter time...

if i've said it once, i've said it a thousand times. if you are going to get wheels that are not silver, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP THE WHOLE WHEEL THE SAME COLOR. black wheels with a silver lip look stupid, gold wheels with a silver lip look stupid. PICK A COLOR AND STICK WITH IT. had the wheels in the original post been entirely gold/bronze, it would probably look pretty nice. but it has that idiotic silver lip that seems to be the arbitrary new trend.

well... ill tell you why I bought these wheels. This guy listed it on ebay and made a mistake on the description. He put 4 instead of 40 offset. So there were only a few bidders. I won the item for $240 shipped NEW lol. Well.. I dont really care how many people hate it now because it is so cheap. Now I just have to pay the snow tires that will cost me an arm and a leg. If I really hate it, I will just spray paint it darker :).

they will look better than steelies and for 240$ who cares.

Since they are for snow tires they will only be on a few months anyway.

I always thought that people driving around with black wheels w/o a polished lip just looked like they had lost all their hubcaps.

Lot's of people hating on the silver lip...personally I think it looks better than solid black. Sometimes solid black gets lost and blends into the wheel well and it looks like something is missing.

Now a silver lip on any other color...I agree, it's fugly.

You got the gold ones for cheap, so I won't tell you what I really think of them. To each their own.
