i had someone do a retro on my car, it came out amazing, the Shop who did the install. MEsssed Everything up..

The Retro itself, is now messed up, and They didnt even do what i asked them to do.

Today, This morning The bumper Starts to Fall off....

THE BUMPER...



i cant bring this to toyota..

i have a case opened with my Creidt card company,

and my Unlce who is a lawyer in now involved...

can i take this to toyota

 

Well i doubt you will be able to take it to toyota because its not a problem the car it self came with. The fault its falling its because you modified the car what i think they will do is sell you a new one, the only reason i think you might get away with its if the car has no signs that it was modified by some one else and you tell them it happen by its self lol.. but anyway man that blows!

 

I'm having a little trouble here understanding what's going on besides your bumper is falling off. You got retro HID's? Guessing window tint? What they do to your interior? The retro was amazing but they screwed it up, is it still amzing? Help I'm lost.

The Retro was done, and it was sick..

The shop ____ed it up..
They messed the setting up, The wire harness they built SUCKS.. They jammed my bumper into the back of the car, putting like 17 marks on the tint, Messing up the fabric, and my dash...

The retro was perfect, untill they got there hands on it

im like 5min away from killing someone,

im typing this all from my office,
i have a flight to DC for work later..

and im loosing my mind....

Maybe it would help if you were a little more specific. What is this "retro" you are talking about? What else did you have done? They put your bumper inside your car?!? Why?

Nothing you said has made sense.... What kind of retrofit, why did they take off your rear bumper? how did they screw things up? Flipped up? what does a retrofit have to do with fabric?

Don't rant and expect us to come to your aid unless you educate us what you really need.... there is nothing we can do to help you if we don't understand your post... and watch your language... you have been warned...

I'm sorry you've been travelling... I know the feeling... I've been to more than 22 countries and all continents but antartica... but it's no excuse for ranting and using poor language,..

 

Speak English, what the hell is a Retro. Get Some Pics. Was the shop like a Custom Install shop? GET with it.

iv been to so many diff places in the past 5 day's for work, That im dont know whats up or whats down?

i had a retro done on my headlight's.
They put my bumper into my car, While the car was sitting in Their Garage. They did this because i had my headlights sent out, and it took 2 weeks for them to be done...

The marks n stuff came from when they Jammed my bumper into my car, they too kthe bumper off to get to my headlight's to take them out.

my wire harness is so tight that its pulling on the HID bulb's : (
my one bulb was bent, and now my bumper is falling off : (

17 marks in my tint....FROM the bumper being pushed into the Hatch..
Same with the fabric inside the car,
A slash in my seat's,

YES a SLASH MARK

do u know what its like to come home after flying around the country for 6 days, only to see your bumper half off : (

 

I did a search on his posts... looks like he paid 1400 bucks for a HID retrofit... must have gone bad....

wow.... that's half a turbo...

We can help you with you bumper... it's really easy to remove and put back on... and I'd suggest just using wire connectors to extend your wiring a bit to get it to fit snug....

You should also address the scuffs and scratches with them... there is no reason why they should have put the bumper in your car, rather than back on the car without the headlamp assemblies.... the bumper doesn't need to assemblies on to be mounted on the car... I'd speak to them and suggest they make it right, cause their's always the BBB, or contesting payment with VISA, if you used it...

Guys... watch your language....

 

Ok thats a little better....now that we have more details tell them you are sending your car somewhere else to get the things touched up and fixed and have the retrofit redone properly and advise them they will be flippin the bill..have your unlce put this in a leaglized form and if its not done they can and will be held liable for doing bad work. If do not agree advise you will follow through with proper leagal action.

Was the STICKER they put on my Back window...

im just scared to take it to a dealer, im afraid this will void my warrenty. and i really dont need this.

I wish i could tell you the name of the shop also, But at this time, If i do take this to court, its not good to Bash the company in Print.

I remember telling you that it was not worth it to pay a shop to remove your bumper and put on your lights. The entire process takes 20 minutes, 30 tops even if its your first time at removing the bumper. How did they fvck up the retro? Did they physically break or tempered with the projectors? I thought rich uses a lot of jbweld so it should be on there pretty good. I guess your only solution is to threaten legal actions if the shop doesn’t fix everything. I doubt they’ll be able to fix the headlights if they did break it. I’ll be happy to help with any retro or projector questions. Other than that, good luck.
