None. I only speed where no one is around, back roads, etc.

If I speed, its like 80 in a 55,.. not 65 in a 55, whats the point of that. If you're going to get a ticket, get a good one. ;)

I got my 1st ticket in the Box while going to work a few weeks ago in Niles on Dempster. I was late to work, so of course I was speeding a bit and so the "pig" that pulled me over claims he got me doing 21 mph over the speed limit. I went to court just this passed Tuesday and I paid my $75 fine and I have 4 months supervision. I have to be a good little boy for 4 months... :nails:

Well, you get caught breaking the law, you get a ticket. :)

My last ticket was quite a few cars ago in 1978. It was a speeding ticket 'cause I was speeding - keeping up with the rest of the traffic.

I think I've received 4 tickets in about 800,000 miles of driving...that averages about one every 200,000 miles. Not too bad, I guess.

Two in mine.... dumb @$$ me the first time. Wasnt paying attention, had worked from 7am till 11pm and was driving home. The tC feels like it is moving slower than my last car (I only had the tC for about a month at the time) and I got nailed for 11 over.

The second was last month. Running 52 in a 30, along with EVERY other car on that street, cars in front and behind me and we ALL were pulled over. So much for going with the flow of traffic huh? Turns out they raised the cost of tickets two weeks earlier and then had a bunch of "pull em all over" speed traps.... good thing they had over 10 cops involved.. screw the crack deals going on down town, lets get the bad people following the flow of traffic  Oh well, I was speeding, so it cost me $220, not to mention my insurance when it gets renewed next year.. I am sure it will jump up on me :nails:

Hey man... I would be grateful everyone around me was pulled over as well. My mom was pulled over out of the flow of traffic once.... she was 1 in 20 cars doing about 10 over and the motorcycle man choice her for some reason. Oh well ...

2 this summer. 80+ in a 65 and 75 in a 65. The first guy says "I was doing 80 and you were pulling on me, uphill" The second one sez "When I get on the freeway I pick the fastest car and that was you."

Two more classes and I should have my Master's Degree in Traffic School!

2 in the tC. (5 all together) First one for 75 in a 55 on the highway (and I was). Let me tell you, around here 20 over will get you $75.00. Calling the cop a liar will get you another 25.

The second one was for going 50 in a construction zone (30), but the deal was I was sitting in rush hour traffic. He said I crossed the bridge going 50. There was a bump on both ends. If I had hit either end going 50 it would have torn my grounds effects off since the car's been lowered. He actually got in trouble not long after that for writting so many tickets on that bridge. He just singled me out because my car looks fast. Went to driving school for the second time over that one.

Heh, I just found out about a little known rule in I think Missiouri (and maybe some other states?) where if you pay double your fine, you don't get a point on your record. So if you get a $200 fine, and pay $400, you will get away with no points. CA needs this!

That is correct in MO. And some of you count your blessings on those fines... $75 for 20 over is CHEAP. In minneapolis ANY amount over that you recieve a ticket for is $169. More than 20 over is an extra $50, and a tad bit more gets you reckless driving.
