POW BANG BOOM!!!! What the !@#$ was that I asked my self??? well by the time I pulled over I knew there was a big problem...I got out and not to my suprise
both right side rims and tires flat!!! Huge chunks out of the rims and tires, bent front
strut, bent rear torsion beam, new custom bent stainless steel exhaust ripped off, under carrige lighting destroyed..( i was only moving like 35mph)I looked back at the road and i didnt even see what i hit untill i walked half a block back and found a pothole 3 feet around and 1 ft deep, full of water. it was disguised. so got the estimate to fix the car it was almost$4000.00 :money: (thank God for insurance) but the hard part is going to be trying to find 2 18" TRD racing hart rims and p zero nero tires (I was told that they were discontinued so the search is on (but the good news is that if the ins co can not find the rims they will pay for a new set of rims..

So the moral of the story is watch out for hidden potholes...

the TRD wheels are again available. check the scion.com website for info.

That sucks John....The same thing happened to me with my TRD 19's, 3 of the wheels were bent from 1 pothole, luckily the tires didn't blow cause I was doing 60mph.... I contacted the city but they blew me off :tap:

take pictures of the rim and contact the city... they can not blow you off when you have proof. my family has had 2 rims + tires replaced due to city potholes.... granted my Father works for the city, but he still had to take the same steps. It will take time but they have to do it
