Default Unorthodox Pulley in combo with a supercharger...

Alright ladies and gents i'm praying someone has an answer here... See everywhere I check switches between it being an underdrive pulley and just a lightened crank pulley. Can someone clease let me know as I have the supercharger and I don't wanna have to buy new belts or do something funny to my boost because if its an underdrive I DON'T WANT IT... I LIVE FOR BOOST Just let me know... thanks

If you're shopping around for a crank pulley just wait alittle while longer and you'll be happy you did. You said you live for boost right, then wait you won't regret it .

you do not want an underdrive crank pulley if you are supercharged. Underdrive by definition means to "slow down" accessories. You do not want to slow your SC because that would mean less boost.

You want an Overdrive crank pulley. And that brings us to Munch's comments. Here is a link for more info on that...

I'll put it to you this way. I haven't had any problems with them. NST makes a sweet set of pulleys. I have had nothing but good gains from my NST pulleys so I will continue to use them . You can't use the underdriven pulley with the supercharger though. They have a pulley coming out for supercharger guys real soon.

NST makes all kinds of pulleys. You can buy them in sets or piece by piece. This is not a pic of the stuff they have for the tC but you get the idea:

and here is a link as well:

becosue he can get the light weight zpi crank pully and not ad any extra power to the stuff that doesnt need it then go and swap the pully on the s/c its self for more boost
(plus wouldnt an over drive crank pully make the s/c just hit boost faster but still be the same amount of boost???)

If any pulley making companies out there are browsing. Could you please make a crank pulley like this...

Make a hub.

Then make a larger ring.

Then slap em together.

That way we can choose how much boost we want and you can make money off of selling different size rings. Would be pretty sweet IMHO.

We have a Supercharger pulley already released. It safely netted 21whp on titian motorsports dyno as tested by a third party.

These are for sale on our site for $99.99
