Anyone know where to get bigger and better pulleys for the Supercharger and how about installing a BOV... I need to get that BOV sound on its probably the most exciting sound known to man...

do a search.

ZPI is in the process of making some stuff for the supercharger

There are two companies working on stuff for the tC. www.zeropointindustries.net
and www.NonStopTuning.com

Nonstop tuning all the way bro

yup, NST all the way

Yea...NST seems like they are showing a great interest in the supercharger. Also, with the pulley, you dont wanna go bigger, you wanna go smaller so you create more boost. Mate that with a lightweight crank pulley and you are rocking now.

10% or 20% overdriven crank pulley is the way to go :lalala:

well, yea, that too but for the time being, the only pulley I see that may come out relatively soon is the smaller pulley for the supercharger. Then Im sure NST will come out with the overdriven as well.

so let me make sure i understand this... NST is the only company who should be releasing one in the forseeable future... that kinda sucks lol... oh and yeah i goofed i meant smaller pulley but bigger boost :)

NST is a reputable company, you should have any problems running there pulleys. i'm using all 3 of the pulleys they have for the tC. very happy and proud to rep NST.

try looking around for an audi atmospheric diverter valve...I think someone actually posted something about it today. I was gonna do that but I didnt want the atmospheric BOV sound again with the tC. I had it in the xB and got a lil annoying after a while.

NST rocks and yes they are developing pulleys for the trd sc. I will not say if they are crank or sc but I can say that NST rocks and I will be doing some prototype testing just after turkey day! Hope you guys can wait!

bov will probably end up throwing a rich cel code on your car. You specifically need a recirculating bypass valve to make the setup work as intended.

Unless you convert to a blow through MAF setup

A blow through maf setup huh..? Please explane :) Hope your talking about a recirculation kit for a bov or an actual bypass valve. Both of which do not "blow through the maf"

I've also got a friend with a tC thats got NST pullies, no problems whatsover and great customer service. They'll answer any questions you have really quickly and get product out to you fast too from what I've heard.

It's a setup where the MAF sensor is placed after both the turbo/SC and the blow off/bypass valve so any air expelled by the bov will not be metered. I honestly don't know alot about how this may impact the function of the sensor, but I know many people with turbo 240sx's do this to be able to use a bov. Try searching about it on www.ka-t.org

make a crank pulley that you can add on rings to make it bigger. feasible idea

Does anyone have any specs or info about the NST pulleys yet?

Garage1217

I have specs but I am not allowed to give them out. Lets just say there pulley is nicer than what I have seen of the zpi and makes more hp... how does it make more..? Hehehe time will tell! Also they have more than one pulley option for you all, what that means??? again time will tell :) And so you know, that time is coming very very fast!

Sponsored............................. no I pay for all my stuff  . Dork  you can't be serious. I talk to NST everyday and I get info all the time.

Just wondering :) and yes I am sponsored by them. All that matters is that they are making some really cool stuff :) I thought you might be because of your inside info that a little birdy told you hahaha And yes, I do pay for my stuff... well 99% of it. Also just so the kiddies know, sponsorship is not everything, you usually spend the cash back 20 fold on tuning and testing new parts for your car, just part of the addictive hobby!

Sorry but might be coming in a little late. But it is possible for the BOV on the supercharger. It would be like a turbo but instead on the exhaust side you would have to weld a bung onto the intake mani and blow any additional pressure off from the intake mani. It might not be as loud of a sound as a turbo BOV because of boost spikes and the velocity of hot air but you will have a beautiful sound. Hope this helps. if i miss something do tell but i think i covered everything.

WELDING ?

Now thats too drastic just to get that kind of sound. I can hear mine blow back when i shift high enough and windows down But of course its not noticeable to anybody who doesnt know. I still say why kill the engine when it kicks ___ with 190+whp!

Yeah man, just up the boost and keep it clean in there. Sleeper style :eyebrow:
