Since the holiday is almost here,
just wondering what favorite dishes are out
there for yall?

I'm not really a turkey fan, but
turkey with some creame of mushrooms
on top...mmhmmm.

Pumpkin pie is pretty.

but since i'm Filipino, i prefer
filipino dishes that day and everday. :D

Pumpkin pie by far is the best.

Sweet potatos with melted marshmellows on top would have to be second.

Ok I have to say the whole feast itself,

cornbread, turkey, ham, macironi & cheese, yams, stuffing with gravy, butter rolls, greens, chicken....list goes on

and can't forget my grandma's banana pudding and peach cobbler for dessert. Can't wait for tomorrow!

hrmmm...

I remember the days where I'd just eat cranberry sauce. I'm also a sucker for my mom's pumpkin pie (she laces them with a thin layer of cheesecake). And for the filipinos out there...my favorite deserts...cochinta, puto, babingka..etc

I'm mad... This is the first time just my Wife and I made our own small turkey dinner. We both forgot to get a pumkin pie and all the stores are closed so we have to wait till tomorrow to enjoy that part.

about a ton and a half of cranberry sauce, and not the good kind, the crappy jelled up still in the shap of a can kind.

Then take that, smear it on two sides of a roll, layer three pieces of dark turkey meat, one spoonful of cold mashed potatoes, one spoonful of stuffing squished into the potatoes, a spoon of gravy, three slices of white meat, then the other top the afore mentioned roll. Squish it all to gether and wash down with beverage of choice, I prefer a Sam Adams sitting outside in the cold.

Turducken is so good... I had some turducken that had sausage stuffed into the duck. ¡Muy delicioso!

My favorite is the sausage and peppers and fried eggplant. We always have a turkey, but no one likes it, so we feed it to the rat terrier over the course of a few days.
