ive got a head rest monitor that doesnt work anymore....i was coming home and my son ask why it went off...so i turn the power on but no picture, my gf says she can barely see a picture at a certain angle...the power light comes on ...dont know the brand and ive only had for a bout a year at max and barelly any use on it...does any one know if a wire can get hot and fall off?or is it broken....the store i bought it from is full of bs and it took me 3 months for my insatll and other problems so i will not be going back cause i know he wont replace it...i was hoping to take it out and go directly to the manfacture...as i did with my soundstream dvd player..any ideas?or thoughts on what the problem is or how i can fix???thanx ...im very new to the whole video so dont get mad at me..lol..thanx

 

Sounds like the backlight went bad.. Theres not much you can do about it. If you take it apart, its possible a wire came loose or something, but most likely the inverter that powers the backlight went bad.

 

ok i poped both of em out and only the bad one makes noise...sounds like the solder got hot and pop went whaterver it was..the brand is boss..do they offer any warranty from the manafacture..ive barely even had them for a year and barely used...or should i try and resolder it??? any help?is that consider a defect or does that just happen...they were on for about 3-4 hours...
