I loved the gummy bears, that's when the Disney channel was truely for kids. I remember watching that every morning while getting ready for school. Talk about old school, I still catch Saved by the Bell at 7am while I'm getting ready for work. I have been watching that show for too many years and know every episode all too well.
::singing:: when I wake up in the morning and my alarm gives out a warning I don't think I'll ever make it on time.....by the time I grab my books and I give myself a look I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by.....it's all right cause I'm saved by the bell....if the teacher pops a test I know I'm in a mess and my dog ate all my homework last night, write a note in my chair so won't know I'm not there if I can have it in tomorrow it'll be alright....it's alright cause I'm saved by the bell
This should turn into a thread where everyone writes out some of the old theme songs from old shows. Or maybe we can start one!

I remember CK in B&W! Only 3 networks! How about the National Anthem at 12:30 am when the station signed off?
Fraggle Rock, I think it was out while I was in HS but I was to busy partying in the woods.
Had to laugh when I read Stu_Gotti and jmiller20874 used the term "Old School" in reverance to FR

"Old School" is just a state of mind. To someone 80 years old, WW2 was old school, Fraggle Rock was yesterday. I remember the national anthem coming on some stations but not all and it was probably closer to 2:00am when they did it. At 27, something that came on during the early 80's is old school to me. :P

Don't worry, they will also someday experience the odd feeling of having something they consider to be up to date be called ancient by someone else. Time accelerates...
Fraggle Rock was barely on the edge of my consciousness, as I had never seen the program. I had to look it up on IMDB to find out when it had run.
Since it is about 20 years in the past, I suppose that it is now "classic TV", as opposed to "vintage TV" like the B&W Rod Sirling Twilight Zone and Earle Stanley Gardner Perry Mason.
One cool thing about the proliferation of networks is that a lot of the vintage stuff is being re-aired regularly.
