My Taillights :D Check it out.
Thanks to http://www.bluebatmobile.com for the overlays. A great inexpensive way to get rid of those bright tail lights. A MUST for the dark colored boxes:
Stock Tails

With Smoked Overlays - Smooth

with headlights and flashers on

Side view

Side view with Reverse lights on

How they look when light hits them

The End

I also did the sidemarkers but didn't get good pics. I'll try to get some up soon.

Yeah, had to sneak my gas door in the pic. It blends in really well with the camo and from many angles it doesn't even show. That's why I like the smoked tails too, they don't stand out, everythings dark. I'm eyeballing some graphite rims too, just to keep it dark.
Careful, that CF stuff's addictive. I just ordered a door handle kit and a piece for the trunk, too. I find myself daydreaming of the CF hood and engine cover like on that blue short bus on overboost.com. If only I could get my wife interested, it would be so much easier...

I really like it on the camo... I've seen it on other colors and didn't think that I wanted it.. Changed my mind
I like the factory tails myself, but I'm still either going to get (not sure what the tail lights are called... the ones that Opr8r has).. or else going for the kit that seperates the different parts of the tail-light with factory color... I'm dead sleepy or I'd find whatever the hell I'm talking about, but going to bed now ;P

Mikochu - I used my bank's online Bill Pay. Simple and fits my lazy lifestyle
3fixA - The bubbles just needed a little poke and some time in the sun. (Come to think of it, so do I
) The wrinkles along the edges I fixed with Photoshop
I just need to brush a little adhesive behind them...
NOTE* Don't put these (or anything) on in the wee hours of the morning. It was a bad combination of garage getting cold, cold stares from my wife as she would wake periodically and the need for sleep that made me leave them not finished perfectly.
But even with the flaws, (my fault, not bluebatmobile.com) I think it looks so much better. The lights blend in instead of standing out

I can't wait to see your side markers smoked!
I've been wanting to smoke the sidemarkers...
Did you need to pop off the side markers to get them on and do they go on the inside of the marker or just on top (i.e. "overlay"?)

Cool! So, do you just pry them off, is there anything that needs extra attention so as not to break something, are they fragile? I can't wait to see your pix...maybe I'll do mine tonight
!
The tails look great now I want to smoke my OEM tails too, thanks Man!

yeah, just grab them by the ends and pull. Pull the rear end out a little first, then grab the rest and apply pressure. There are tabs on each end holding them in place, the wiring goes towards the front. I also waxed behind them while I had them off

I ship worldwide  . As far as legality goes, it's not legal to alter the look of your headlights and taillights. However, here i Cali, it's illegal to have your front windows tinted, yet, alot of people do it. The tint isn't all that dark. I've never had any problems with them myself. Email me if you're interested.
