Hello All!

First off, its thursday, THANKSGIVING! So have a happy and a safe Thanksgiving.


So, before I tell you all about the idea I want to ask higher members of SE:Chicago for allowing me/people to do this? I dont want to do something that has already been done or isn't allowed to be done.

I used to get into rollerblading like, alot. I used to film alot of things for it. So I actually havent used my camera for a long time. But I own a VX1000, which is a 3ccd chip camera (basically lots more colors and quality) I own many lenses including fisheyes, wide-angles and the original lens.
What I am looking to do is this, SE:Chicago is pretty big and lots of events happen. I want to include all the midwest states as well.
So when I attend certain meets, when I attend them (soon as I can get everything working) I will start filming some things like drives and the cars and the mods on the cars.
Then making tiny little edits for the meets that happend. For people to view the video instead of just pictures. Most times I will encode them to WMV so you can stream them if you would like.
I am also looking for other people to film meets outside of the ones I can go to and you can either make your own edits or send the clips to me and ill edit them for you.
I use Adobe Premier and I do some simple edits.


Anyone think this is a good idea? Mostly im posting this to get everyones oppinion.

go for it... and if you come to any of the small meets i believe i might have some tools you can use... but you will have to come to find out... of you can just go to www.stickypod.com and check it out for yourself. Jose who meets up with us every week also has been working on some videos. you can meet him

Awesome idea. It would be great to see more scion videos. We all know the web is chockk full of turbodreams, redline, and all the other honda vehicle based productions. Go for it.

its been talked about lots of times. Only thing is that no one has ever come to the plate. Or someone does a little filming but we never see the finished product. It is a good idea, in fact a great idea. Only thing is you living in boofoo egypt suc because the little local meets are way more fun then the car shows (depending on the car shows of course :) ).

yeah only problem is I cannot find the charger for my battery.. its a lithium ion battery so its a special charger, might be a set back until I can buy one, especially with all this christmas mumbo jumbo coming up

im pretty out going ill talk to people, plus youll see me pull up in my tee cee... im down for the next meet.. it just has to be closer to me, so I dont have to drive an hour or so.. hahaha

i did pretty well considering. i have another post somewhere on the internet where i have no idea what i was trying to say
anywho... this movie things sounds cool, maybe u should come join us for our toys for tots day in chicago. i will be making calls tomorrow to try and set that all up.
