Default Precision Muffler Cat-back

I've noticed they have a "For Offroad use only" disclaimer underneath it on their website. Has anyone had problems passing emissions testing after having this installed?

It looks like it removes the secondary cat alltogther....so if you had a header as well you would be running no cats at all. If you have the factory exh manifold you would only have 1 cat. Either way, removing a cat is considered emissions illegal.

I guess what threw me is that it's a "cat-back" system implying that it only changes out parts behind the cat. I'm used to my car which only has 1 cat so I assumed it was left in tact.

I'd still be curious to find out if anyone who has this system has failed emissions testing. All they did here in Dallas was plug into my computer and monitor something then gave me a pass. How would they know I was missing a cat if they didn't look under the car? Probably a stupid question but, then again, I have no problem being stupid.

If thwey didnt do a visual inspection and it passed the sniffer youd be good to go ...just a matter of finding if it will pass the sniffer.
