Default removing stock headers?

In the process of installing alphawerks headers....we ran into a problem removing the bottom left nut...no room for play any suggestions??

an offset 12 mm wrench will do the trick

doesnt sound like you have all the right tools to complete the removal....you better have an air tool to get the spring loaded bolts off the bottom of the header, if you dont, invest in about a 2-3 foot pipe and jack the car up off the ground, and start cranking, those are the only hard bolts to get off of the car, other than that, there isnt any other "hard" bolts to get off and the header install will go in real easily...patience oh and if you have any questions call my phone it wont cost you anything if your on a cell phone 856 904 7336

last night i got every bolt off easy except for the bottom left bolt on the header....there literally no room to work with....a wratchet wont fit because the alternator is in the way

you do know you can remove the Alternator if you need....

Thats too much work...just go out and buy an offset 12 mm wrench for $10 at Sears and your set.

Or use a 12mm wobbly socket with a 6" extension. Worked great for me.

take pictures of the install if you can.....i dont think anyone has done a header write up with pics yet
