06 factory iPod radio Q...
I have the Pioneer factory iPod radio in my 06 xB.
It sounds pretty good, but I added a 10" sub/amp using LOC adapter and Vifa tweets in the dash. Now the mids/highs are a little weak. The sub is set very low on the gain to not overpower the fronts.
My question is: if I add a second amp for mids/highs and bypass the factory wiring HU/harness/amp do I need to add a load resistor or something when I disconnect the door speakers? I would have only the LOC on the factory radio outputs!
Also, I am leaning toward replacing the entire setup w/new Alpine ipod compatible HU. How much can I get for the 06 factory setup w/iPod cabling?
TIA!

i would pay 100 just for the part of the wiring that plugs into the back of the hu, witht eh slim 16pin connector, and the rest of the stuff is selling for upwards of 300 on ebay without that wiring
