The_Instigator 12-01-2005, 12:34 AM Wilwood's are GREAT KITS. The closest you can get to brembo. And we outperformed both at the recent RSX challenge: http://www.hondanews.com/catID3020?mid=2005110166750&mime=asc We (StopTech) were shorter than Brembo by 23 feet and shorter than Wilwood by 33 feet. Brembo only beat a stock RSX-S by a few feet on R compund tires while Wilwood was actually worse than stock by about 10 feet on race tires. We are also Toyota's choice for brakes on all of the tC celebrity cars at the upcoming Long Beach Grand Prix. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=86423 ScionofKirkland 12-01-2005, 12:49 AM When I have the cash I am going StopTech ^^ boostedscion 12-01-2005, 03:04 AM yea we are all waiting on the pcis Kenshin 12-02-2005, 01:38 PM http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93275&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=75 http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93275&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=75 http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93275&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=75 http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93275&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=75 http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93275&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=75 danman04x 12-02-2005, 02:50 PM stil waiting on pics Mista3 12-03-2005, 01:28 AM Nice Plug Instigator. scottle 12-03-2005, 06:19 AM i been busy backed up so bad cause of holidays. i will have time to put the on early next week and be sure to post pics. my body kit is also in the shop. get that next week also but i will have my dual exhaust done saturday so heads up for pics. and by the way how do i post them. do i have to resize or something and if i do how do i do it, scottle 12-11-2005, 03:27 AM how do you post pics lol. i cant figure it out. or does anyone have an email i can send it to and you post it for me? please reply. the_butcher 12-11-2005, 03:37 AM go to http://www.imageshack.com host em there. or any other free photo hosting site.. then go to properties(right click) copy the (http://www.imageshack.com/tcwith20's) <--- thats just an example and put it here with the img /img tags or just post the links up someone else can put it on the site if you dont understand me MOST IMPORTANT>>> HOST EM The_Instigator 12-11-2005, 04:10 AM Here are the pics. Definately need a bbk in there... but.... don't know if they are "Too" big for a tC... Surprised there's no rubbing... skinny tires must make it.... but ouch for bumps. Vas_Finest 12-13-2005, 11:56 AM ^^ I thought it was gonna ride like sh!t, but its a whole lot better than I thought. You do have to focus on the road though, cause if you hit a pothole on the interstate your rim WILL fold up. FLINT 12-13-2005, 12:17 PM now u need to sell them back cuz daily driving is goin to chew those bad boyz up. if not u can do a lil offroading in it. baha here u come. denny2217 12-20-2005, 11:49 PM Did you guys have to adjust ur spedodometer after getting bigger rims, thats why i didnt go bigger than 17" WeDriveScions 12-21-2005, 12:04 AM Nope.... as the rim gets bigger, the tires get thinner... hopefully making up the difference. I'm off by 3 mph at 70 Check this link for the best info http://www.net-comber.com/tirecalc.html boostedscion 12-22-2005, 02:19 AM wow those are some huge rims WeDriveScions 12-22-2005, 05:45 AM 20's are a little too big for the tC IMHO... but they do look sweet. |
