i'm not gonna be installing many mods myself...so is it a good idea to invest in the TRD struts/shocks, lowering springs, sway bar, and wheel and tire package? or should i look at different brands? or just simply find them somewhere else?
plz help

say.....would I be wrong to say if TRD is possibly the best for purely street driving and anything other then that is overkill....

Hell i should have started saving when I was 19!
its a good idea to save up for a scion starting at 14, you work yet or still doin the lawn thing? Everything I've heard is that the TRD stuff is good for street... its not too extreme (which you probably dont want for a daily driver) but still handles good.... But I have no first hand experience, so I dont know how much my words are worth...

i betcha his parents are going to pay for his car or at least help him out a good bit and maybe w/ his mods to. lol. don't take it personally, that's what i went through w/ my first car. if not and you're paying for everything, that's good more respect to you. :P

Um.. how? 98% of TRD parts for the tC, or any toyota in america is made in the states, not overseas. TRD has jdm and usdm products and support offices. Doesn't mean all products made by them are jdm. If you wanted a more jdm tC, you should do research in other companies.
Trd is a good company if you don't want a straight peformance style car. Most of their products are a little pricey for what they are compared to others, but their products aren't that bad as far as quality goes. Most go with TRD because of warranties, but as i keep telling people. Don't be scared of warranties. I'm not going to explain it because i've done it 1,000 times already. :relief:
Anyway, good luck. And you are a bright kid for 14, wow.

TRD, never had them- only Eibach prokit and Sprint linear. I will probably get them or the Hotchkis.
