Geez, Look at all of the bling bling replacement parts.

230,000 yen for HID dual lights!?! Doesn't that work out to around $2,000.00?

i have to say, the "cycle fenders" are the most unique automotive styling contraption i've ever seen.
http://www.kgworks.co.jp/image/4-i-27.jpg

i'd be scared to drive with those on.

very interesting though.

super low ryda'! all they are missing is the dinngie balls & and the fuzzy dice!
and a reverse front windshield shade visor thing (like an old bomber).

Is it me? Im sorry but that stuff looks horrible. I would never put any of that stuff on any car i own. Maybe if i owned a lowrider bicycle or something.

I give them an A for trying but its just not my cup of tea. Then again, you dont find any chrome on my S2000 either.

but doesn't your s2000 have a starter button?

yeah the chrome is bit much. but some of these things, like the instrument panel bezel, in carbon fiber or a muted silver like the other trim pieces that are already in our cars would be cool. and yeah im a sucker for the starter button.

The dakota digial gauge set is pretty cool, if you can take out the old stuff and fab it into the original spot somehow.

hey guys, I have some of that stuff myself. prolly one of the few if any. parts are high quality as with anything made in Japan. I would not have bought them if I wasn't satisfied with the product when I saw it. Inner door handles swapped right back in to the doors with little problems. lock plungers and speedo trim ring were exact fits. I am extremely happy with what I bought. If some of this stuff is not your cup of tea, then don't worry if others like it. I don't care for the cycle fenders either.

although I still want that cool rearview mirror.

Dang. I love their Rodder tails (http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-i-25.htm), but 68,000 yen?! I thought the Fabulous Retros (http://www.fabulous.co.jp/products/luxuryminivan/bb_k/) (which I also love) were spendy at 37,800.

That said, are there any American dealers for them?

JDMJim

you can just order thru them. they ship to the U.S.

Chrome=trashy

I wish someone would actually come out with parts like these that are attractive. Just becuase it's JDM doesn't mean it looks good. Some of you put some ugly ___ ____ on your cars.

Man I had no idea that the parts that South Yokohama sold were actually KG Works! I have been wanting the rear view mirror, locks, door handles, and door speaker covers for quite a while, but South Yokohama doesn’t sell to the U.S. I’d probably get the wiper’s or covers as well if they would work.

Looks like the pricing is better as well. So Van, what kind of a mark-up can we expect on top of the pricing shown on the website?

Also any chance you might start importing South Yokohama body kits?

Yeah, I don't think my car looks trashy, nor do the judges and anyone that sees the car except for die hard import haters

Sigh... I should have taken a closer look yesterday, lol. Van's post was from 2003. And last time I checked his site he didn't have any of the KG Works parts on there.

So Jim, you seem pretty familiar with their stuff. Did you buy it all direct from Japan? Also, what did you pay compared to the list price? (Conversion rate applied of course.)

JDMJim

I paid their price thru South Yokohama.

So did you actually order straight from South Yokohama Jim? If so how did you place the order? Online, over the phone?

How hard did they hit you on shipping?

JDMJim

I was at South Yokohama. Visiting my wifes fam there last November. The SCR sticker on the back window is theirs. KGWorks will ship to you.

Thanks for the help Jim. KG Works it is for the interior parts. Now I just need to find a way to get South Yokohama to ship me a lip kit. Then find a source for the JDM front and rear bumpers. :)

Not to hijack this thread....but....is that a 1st Generation or 2nd Generation Bb they have on their website?

I am dieing to use those bumpers and delete my bodykit so I can get that ultraclean bodyline that they have on the foreign market cars that were offered without kits.

Also, anyone have pics of the entire South Yokohama kit I keep hearing about....I saw a pic of their front lip in another search and have yet to see the whole kit.

Someone let me know if they find a distributor who can get JDM bumpers from the 1st generation.
