I just purchased a set of Tein Basic Coilovers for the XB ... I choose to install these on my Echo forthe purpose of the stiffer spring rates and stiffer shocks than the XA and Echo kits...

I was suprise to how nicely the kit is put together and how amazingly stiff the rear shocks are. Another plus to these are the shocks are short strokes also... So I'll be installing these as soon as I get off work. I'll be taking pictures of the kit before installation and stock hieght of the Echo vs the kit installed and the height of the Echo with the kit installed... I'll keep you guys posted...

My plan for my Touge setup is running the TRD Japan 3point Front strut bar, XB front sway bar, Cusco front lower brace, Whitelines rear sway, TRD rear end link, and Cusco 3 point rear strut bar...

I'm also replacing all my wheel studs with Tundra wheel studs... They're 0.25" inch longer... And I picked up a set of Wed's Sport racing rims. 14x6.5 I'll post of those soon...

Thanks for the pictures. If you ever get a chance it would be interesting to see the rear springs when the car is jacked up and the rear control arm is at max drop. Do the springs stay in? The picture that is in the Tech section of Scion Life makes it seem like they might not stay in if the adjustment disks were dialed down all the way. But of coarse its impossible to tell unless you got um on your ride and can see first hand. Also, are the rear shocks that came with the Tien shorter then stock (short stroke)?
