I've read here that a trailer hitch and an after-market muffler are a no go. I am here to tell you that the Curt Hitch will work with the Borla axle-back muffler (Part #11741) . Muffler installation was a snap; only took about 5 minutes. The hitch was another story. I needed to bend the damn thing in order to line up the holes. Also, no fault of Curt Manufacturing, one of the original tapered bolts caused a bit of cross threading. It came out hard, and I ended up having to use it in lieu of one of the bolts supplied with the hitch. I drove it back in with a smattering of locktight and my air rachet. I'm only towing a Stingray 240LS, so it shouldn't matter. :P
