Hmm, I wonder who's TCM xB that is on the flyer?

I won't be able to make it. I will hopefully have my three surgeries on 03Jan06, and will be out of the loop for a few months. I won't be able to drive a stick w/ my arm in a cast/brace.

I have just been quite the busy cat these past few months at my new job - not working in Palo Alto anymore :clap: So many arnold schwarts a liar governor budget cuts! :loser: working in San Mateo now and loving it!

Anyway, yeah, I am still coordinating the car shows and adding a few new flavors to the show - you'll see! :P

Staging for certain groups will begin as early as 8:30am or so -

The actual event time is 11am-4pm

Tickets are bought at the door the day of the event -

If you are thinking about registering your ride(s), please pre-reg and save money - if the website is down or got issues, email:

It's RAIN OR SHINE (indoors) and should be another sell out crowd as we are adding my BBOY contest in it that I have been doing for 9 years now!

The check in spot is the SAFEWAY PARKING LOT across the street on the corner of GEAR Y and I believe LAGUNA - Thi is only for regsitered cars...

The event location is:
San Francisco Japantown
1610 Geary Street
SF, CA 94115

San Mateo/San Jose area:

US-101 NORTH toward SAN FRANCISCO -
Take the NINTH ST exit toward CIVIC CENTER - go 0.7 mi
Bear on LARKIN ST - go 0.6 mi
Turn on GEARY ST - go 0.2 mi
GEARY ST becomes GEARY BLVD - go 0.5 mi
Arrive at 1610 GEARY BLVD, SAN FRANCISCO

East Bay/Berkeley:

Jdmtheory.com proudly presents The 3rd Annual J's Car Gathering with the Return of the B-boy battle in Japan Town San Francisco's underground garage. We welcome ALL Car enthusiasts of all makes and models to join us in our biggest event of the year.

This event has been sold out in the past. Pre-registration is required to guarantee vehicle spaces. Vendor booths are also available. All registrations mailed must be postmarked on or before January 8, 2006 and must be received by the 15 th. Registration from the 16 th until the 21 st will be $26. Registration at the gate will only be accepted if spaces are still available.

Additional information and registration confirmation will be sent via email after your registration has been processed.

If spaces are still available, sounds like they will notify you omce you've paid.

well if you ever answered your phone or returned your messages you could roll with us cause we know exactly where to go, but i guess we will just see you there

question, if we registered do we still have to pay to get in? last year they said no, then when we started driving our car down they made us pay 10 bucks a person to get in... so whats the deal, its just me and a passenger if that helps answer the question

I think that last year that thing about the "extra $10" for parking was either a breakdown in communication between jdmtheory and the parking garage management
or
Between jdmtheory and us. (were we supposed to bring an extra $10 to park?)

Last year, when we showed up, the parking garage attendant had no idea who we were and wouldn't let anyone leave until everyone paid an extra $10.

I dunno how jdmtheory is going to swing it this year. I think you might bring an extra $10 just in case.

Not really the daily driver deal. I have had my box for a bit over a month. Looks totally stock except for the drop. Really plain compared to your xb and the others in attendence. I have my rims on order. That should make it look nicer. :D

This car went flying by me during the summer on 580 in between Livermore and Dublin. I was doing 75 in the Matrix, and this guy had to be going at least 85-90 mph.

He got popped by CHP right before Santa Rita Rd. :doh:
