I tried to order the quickshifter for the xb last week and toyota told me it was discontinued until further notice.

Thats a shame because it is a really nice part. Even though it doesn't really shorten the shifts at all, it really adds a nice, notchy feel to the car.

i know thats why I wanted it.

You should look into the Perrin short shifter. They are nice a friend of mine has one in his box and when I get the extra money I know thats the one I'm planning on getting. It's even adjustable.

You may want to try http://www.trdsparks.com. They list the short shifter, and sell it for less than retail. You might get lucky if they have some in stock. If they are out, they also sell a short shifter from B&M as well. The B&M shifter is also less expensive.
