If you get the supercharger installed and you have an aftermarket intake. Make sure you have the intake and give it to them with the car when dropping off for install. So if you plan on ever having a s/c, dont get rid of your old intake.

I got a call 2 hours after dropping it off and they said they needed a piece from the intake. I dont know which one, but i had to go back with the old intake.

Plus I was quoted 8 hours. Got a call and it is now 2 days. But I still pay what i was quoted. so I pay 8 hours 624 dollars.

Cant wait to pick it up tomorrow.

Congrats but, $624? I hope they up the boost to 13psi, install a ecu upgrade, wax, wash, and kiss your arse for that much. That is a ridiculous amount. You should have asked around before you took it there, other toyotas are quoting $300 range, not to mention go to a local shop (reputable) and get it done cheaper. I would have installed it for you for $200. Of course your not in my area, but still. That is way, way too much, you end up paying $3,800 basically for 195-200whp? I feel sorry for your loss.

EDIT: you are in Va, i could have installed it for you.

Impulse buy I guess. But i didnt have much of a choice. A local tunning shop said the ZPI stage 1 kit would be 2000 to install so I wasnt even going to ask them for the s/c. And the scion dealer i cant say they are really jipping me because others have said its an 8 hour install. And I new ahead of time that they charge $78 an hour. So the math does add up.

Yes it should have been cheaper but there werent many other options for me. I work so much i wouldnt have time to take it out of the area.

Well, do what you have to do i suppose. As long as you are happy with it. That is so much money though for that thing. lol

oh, FYI the shop that claims $2,000 for a turbo install..yeah, never go there.
