A customer had his SportTrack towed into our shop this morning. He was towing his SportTrack behind his Motorhome "Coach" for about 50 miles before he noticed a problem. There appeared to be a lot of sparks coming from his SportTrack. There was only one small problem, when he got his SportTrack all setup behind the motorhome he forgot to take the trans out of park. Yep he had been towing it for the last 50 miles in park. The tires were gone and the rims were half gone, must of also wore down part of the axle housing to because it was leaking. Don't know how the trans is yet.
If it was mine I'd make a square deal.
Rotate wheels every ten miles.

yeah, pretty obscure musings from me. Seemed like every other poster was saying "wow" for loss of words.
Turn words around and upside down and inside out for fun or stretching the brain.
:P
(hey, I"m just a freak of basically good nature)

Well, it's so simple. I will say I like you. You are really a thoughtful, kind guy.
that is all revealed now. We're both happy to meet here.
And -not getting my comic drifts? Hell, who does?
ha ha but dude, that's true! I hit and I miss but it's fun when sometimes the joking works up -some- smiles where before there were, maybe none. (not referring to this thread, which is going fine with or without my antics)

i wonder what motorhome he says... it says alot about the engine and trans he has on the camper... if it can tow a sporttrack in park for 50 miles without noticing anything? wow.

wow it kinda remindes me of my mother, and a few of my ex-gfs. lol forgeting to release the park brake. but damn how do you forget to put it in neutral? and i also believe that there needs to be more police out there because i cant believe he drove that far with it in park and nobody pulled him over or told him about it. thats just sad

What kind of license do you need to drive a big RV like that legally?
Whatever it is, it must be easy to get (as this picture shows) because most people that drive them are morons.

Well, he managed to grind through the tire, the wheel, the brake drum/disc, the differential banjo, and the spring hangers, since those are the overload leaves sitting on the ground and the wheel is no longer centered in the wheelwell.
That's going to cost a few G-notes.
That motorhome must have had a helluva stereo, to drown out the sound of howling tires and screaming metal. It must have been a pretty lonely road, too, to have nobody pull up and tell him about his problem!
