Where is 37 compared to Rt35 Eatontown area?

 

Watch out some of the PoPo I go to school with have been talkin about making a run there, they do this a lot, make everyone think its safe...then nail everyone one night...just be ready...

 

Going there is gonna be nothing but trouble. I use to go there all the time with my turbo civic 2 yrs ago. Cops everywhere! Becareful of the PoPo just like Delayed Turbo said..

I stopped at the Stop & Shop around 9:30, and no one was there. Sorry I missed you guys. I figured that's where you would've gone. but I guess not.

 

nahh we grabbed some food at checkers then just cruised 37 for a while

 

rt 37 is a cop trap beware

 

They don't normally bother you though. Well, they haven't ever bothered me. You could always go by Dale's (aka DefconDesigns) Vinyl Shop next to White Castle!

 

im from that exact area actually, there are cops in vettes that race, then pull you over, winter time its not that bad, but 37 is not a good place to race..they hate us..haha

 

oh, I don't think they meant to race. They were just comin' up to hang out. We drive boxes, we KNOW they're not fast! lol

 

whats up with how paranoid some of you guys are. I didnt know dales shop was over there ill have to swing in one day i need to get some stuff cut.

 

I think they thought you wanted to race, b/c someone mentioned Atco. That's probably why they all seemed paranoid.

But yea, if you're at White Castle. And you're at the drive-thru window, pickin' up your food, look right! His shop is right there. Right next to a trophy store. You should see his box there.

 

37 isnt bad if you just act normal, its the kids in there moms accords and g/f's civics that speed around that get everyone in trouble. The cops really dont mind everyone hanging out but once civics start revving, and the v8 boys start doing burnouts the cops tell everyone to leave and find somewhere else to hangout. But like everyone else said the summer is the worst because thats when you have people from different states getting in on the racing too and then the cops really crack down. Overall 37 has toned down its not what it used to be at all still fun though when you have nothing else to do. Just my .02.

I remember when i had my old car back in highschool a good 2 or 3 years ago even on weekdays you would go out and every major parkinglot would be full of cars. And then everyone used to go to dover road, or down by my house on 37 near the industrial park R.O.C as it was also known. Thats when it was real big and actually fun to see who was running what. I remember the 8 sec vette that used to come out, his buddy with the built and nitroused nova, and the older man with the 11 sec viper. Now all of them are a thing of the past I havent seen any of them in a long time. Now its mostly civics, but me and my buddy still go out and terrorize them in his stage 2 upgraded 20g turbo srt. Still fun and still a good chance of getting pulled over if you dont act right. But overall a good time can be had meeting up with fellow scionlifers etc. But again its really calmed down.

Maybe after we stop with all this snow and everything we should have a small little meet and greet type thing out on 37 like old times lol. We could all meet at the stop and shop on 37. It would be cool to meet some of you since i havent had a chance to go to any meets yet with work and everything. It will have to be in maybe a week or two though im still healing from my motorcycle accident i had the day after thanksgiving. But believe me im trying to rush recovery lol. I dont know just throwing the idea out there for all you guys.
