Default best autometer gauge prices?? where?

I am looking to get some autometer gauges. I think Im going to go with oil pressure, water temp, and boost. Where is the best price to get autometer gauges? Or should I consider another brand? I am not able to afford the nexus grade .... I am looking to get some type of grade under $100 each gauge... can someone help with this?

This is the pod I am getting:

....it is a Center Dash 60mm pod. Can someone help me w/ this ... I want to make sure I get the best prices and product for my price limit.

Take a look on E-Bay...

I got some Megan Tinted gauges and I love how they look, I am just in the process of making a Fiberglass insert for my air vent to the left of the steering wheel, so I can have 2 gauges in there... I am not a big fan of he 3 humps...

But definately take a look at Megan Racing gauges, and you can get them pretty cheap on EBay..

I always get my gauges from Summit...they dont have the cheapest prices on the block but they are the most reliable and ship out real quick. Are you going turbo or supercharger?? Cause if you are going turbo I cant stress it enough to get either an EGT or a Wideband 02 sensor...they are both really expensive, but could save your motor in the event of mechanical failure...everyone tends to look these 2 gauges over and in reality, its probably more important than your water, and even oil temp gauges.

jwaggz82, we carry Auto Meter gauges. For the budget you stated you're going to have to go with a mechanical gauge set up. For mechanicals, you're looking at about under $100 a gauge. Most of the different Auto Meter series have both mechanical and electric gauges. You can go to http://www.autometer.com/ and see what you like. When you have an idea what style(s) you like send me a PM or email (in signature) and I'll get you some prices.
We also carry Apex'i, HKS, and GReddy gauges. Apex'i only has electric gauges though. HKS has a few mechanicals, I believe, and GReddy has a mechanical boost only. Both HKS and GReddy have electric gauges also. Electric gauges are not within your stated budget though. They are at the very least double the price of mechanicals.
Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks.

Autometer Phantom gauges are classic gauges that dont cost an arm and a leg. The oil pressure is gonna be around a buck and change for the electric, but the water and boost electric gauges are cheap..like around $40-$50

all of them dont look that nice - the lighting are side lit and isnt going go give that nice detailed look. The ones I like but not going to spend the money on getting are the nexus gauges.

If you are looking at getting an Autometer electric oil pressure gauge, I would warn you that the sending unit is f*cking huge. It's like at least an inch in diameter and 2 inches long. Plus you are going to have to have an adapter as the Toyota sending unit is 1/8" Bitish pipe thread and the Autometer is 1/8" NPT, so you need to add the length of that in as well. I would look at where it goes on the engine and make sure it fits before ordering it. The temp sending units are fine though.

is that just for the nexus you are talking about or for all of them? I think the phanthom (i think thats the name) are the ones Im leaning toward. I dont want to buy each gauge for $200 and then getting the controller etc etc (w/ the nexus) ...i just dont need it but wouldnt mind having it.

all you gotta do is buy the oil filter block adapter...then you have I think around 6 outlets to use.

EGT + Boost gauge is what i have on my RSX.

you dont really NEED oil pressure, by the time u see something wrong, its already too late. but EGT + boost are NECESSARY. no need for water temp, oil temp or any of that ____. dont mess with regular a/f meters, they are not accurate at all. WIDEBAND o2 sensors are the accurate ones, but EGT gauge is also a way to read a/f. EGT>wideband a/f
