well, im about to reach my oil changing phase and my parents got me that extended warranty along with the car where the dealership will take care of the oil changes. I'm just worried about the fact that I have an Injen CAI. Does that affect the warranty in some way, or at least, just for oil changing? Will they like NOT complete an oil change because they found an injen intake? This question may sound stupid but I just wanna make sure before I look like an idiot. Thanks a lot

 

no dont worry about it. its not a stupid question. the intake has no affect on your oil so there isnt gonna be a problem. i had my intake since i had 40 miles on my car and im almost at 8000 now and had my 2nd or 3rd oilchange already i cant remember but so far no word from the dealership what so ever.

my dealered threatened to void my warranty because of my Injen (Long story). but as far as oil changes, they haven't said anything, basically without proof of damaged caused by the aftermarket product, they have no right to void your warranty.

 

I have an aftermarket intake as well, and actually it wasnt tightened enough, when i went to get my oil change, not only did it not affect the warranty, but he tightened it for me.
